Working from Massachusetts and New York, I draw upon the tonal depth and techniques characteristic of the Dutch Golden Age. Using a camera instead of a paint brush, I hope to create a dialogue between past and present capturing the poetry of everyday moments. Through my lens, I invite viewers to reflect on beauty in imperfection and reconsider their perceptions of how they see everyday world.
